Experience & Activities

Catherine, an Economist with experience focusing on economic regulation in the Energy sector is an Analyst with the KK Advisors team. She is currently a student with the CFA Institute, pursuing her CFA certification and she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics from Strathmore University.

Most recently, Catherine worked at the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Uganda (ERA) as a Graduate Trainee in the Economic Regulation department where she participated in a number of economic surveys

In her role at ERA, she also supported the regular review of the Financial and Commercial performance of Electricity Licensees, reviewed international trends on matters related to electricity regulation, supported the development of concepts for decisions of the Authority and Policy and prepared articles, reports, and presentations for use at the Authority.

Catherine has a strong passion for Finance and Economics and her vision is to become an Energy Economist.
