David Luyombya has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, business development and as a developer of hydropower projects. He holds a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford (1997).

Currently, he is a company director and investor, with a focus on financing and strategic planning, in a number of private businesses in Africa and India in areas including healthcare outsourcing, hydroelectricity and agriculture.

Formerly he was a senior investment banking professional with extensive private equity experience gained from ten years at UBS Investment Bank in London European Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Global Healthcare teams. Prior to UBS, he worked as a Management Consultant at Mckinsey & Co. in New York

David has an extensive global transaction track record including M&A, equity and debt financings, as well as, general financial and strategic advisory work for leading private equity firms and major public and private companies in Europe and the United States.
